M.S. Kennedy (MSK) earned its certification to Class K of MIL-PRF-38534 in 1997 and has become a major supplier of custom and standard microelectronics to both the space industry and the defence industry as a whole. In more recent times, responding to aeronautical demands for lower cost packaging as an alternative to hermetic parts, MSK introduced Encapsulated Power Modules (PEMS) which provide a substantial saving in cost whilst surviving 1,000 temperature cycles of -55deg C to 125 deg C. The ability to withstand comprehensive HAST testing has enabled MSK to be chosen to drive electro-hydraulic actuation systems for the flight control surfaces of the F35 MSK products are available from Campbell Collins and are classified EAR 99 and hence do not incur any ITAR restrictions. Linear Regulators: MSK manufacture a wide variety of high current, low dropout Linear Voltage Regulators for Hi-Rel and severe environment applications with currents from 1.5A to 20A in surface mount and through hole packages Switching regulators: For Point of Load (POL) applications, MSK has created an hermetic, hi-rel switching regulator product line offering high efficiency, high output current with wide input voltage ranges and efficiency up to 95% Motor Controllers: MSK offers a large selection from simple, compact bridges to complete brushless DC torque amplifiers. Current drive capability is from 5A to 800A and input voltage ranges from 55V to 1200V.  PEMs: MSK has become a leading supplier of high power encapsulated modules for use in harsh or extreme environments using high strength Aluminum Silicon Carbide (AlSiC) base plates that stay flat and won't warp like copper.

Amplifiers: High performance operational amplifiers from MSK include outputs up to 180V, slew rates to 6000V/uS and currents up to 15A. Most are available in Industrial, Military, and Space quality levels some with SMD and some Rad Hard.  Video Amplifiers: These have high output current for use in Piezo Electric drives, electrostatic or electro-magnetic deflection and CRT cathode drives.  DC/DC converters: MSK DC-DC Converters are hermetic, high reliability devices aimed at Military, Space and other severe environment applications.

SMD Products: A large number of MSK products can be procured to a DSCC (Defense Supply Center Columbus) Standard Microcircuit Drawing (SMD). Most of the amplifiers and many of the voltage regulators are currently available to an SMD and MSK are constantly adding to that list of available products.  Rad Hard Products: MSK has designed and manufactured thousands of complex custom hybrid microcircuits that are currently in orbit on both commercial and military satellites.
