Quarter-Brick Converter Enables Cost and Space Savings in Intermediate Bus Architecture Applications


The Power Electronics Division of C&D Technologies has introduced a new isolated DC/DC Converter that provides a cost and space saving solution for Intermediate Bus Architecture applications in computer and telecommunications equipment. The QUS40-096 has an unregulated output, and a fixed conversion ratio of 5:1 that is maintained between the input and output voltages. The module is housed in a compact, industry standard, quarter-brick footprint package.
