GAÏA Converter has introduced a new family of
high-density 75W and 150W modules 
 

The 75W modules with ultra-wide input range (5:1) 9-45 Vdc, 16-80 Vdc making them extremely useful in highly demanding applications.  The family of product has been designed for applications where variable input voltage and transients are prevalent making them ideal for on-board systems.
 

They are housed in a standard 1/4 brick package with a metal case and are fully potted to ensure excellent thermal characteristics over the entire -40ºC/+105ºC baseplate temperature range. The modules work at a fixed switching frequency making filtering simpler and include advanced features such as independent safety function, trim, external synchronization and more.

Should you need more than 75w for your application the 150W standard half brick package is loaded with features that include:
 

• Soft start

• Integrated LC EMI filter

• Galvanic isolation 1,500 Vdc

• External synchronisation

• No load to full load regulation

• Trim and sense adjustment

• Parallel operation current sharing

• Under voltage/over voltage/over current protection

• On/off function

• No octocoupler for high reliability
