High Frequency, fixed frequency 25W DC/DC Converter simplifies filter design

 
The MGDS-26 uses a 1MHz fixed switching frequency. This helps avoid harmonics that would interfere with the applications signal frequencies. The design of the filter can then be simplified, with smaller filter components.

  • Ability to synchronise switching frequency with other converters to avoid beat frequencies

  • Permanent short circuit protection

  • Sense function to ensure automatically corrected voltage at load

  • Trim function applies fixed correction for external voltage drops

  • Parallel/load sharing gives true N+1 redundancy and greater output.

  • On/Off function can be used to save power or allow measurements to be taken in a low noise environment.
