The MGDS-26 uses a 1MHz
fixed switching frequency. This helps avoid harmonics that would
interfere with the applications signal frequencies. The design of the
filter can then be simplified, with smaller filter components.
The MGDS-26 is ideally suited to:
Sonar Applications
Radar Applications
Military Communications
Thermal Imaging Cameras
High Definition/Long Range Cameras
Features and benefits
include:
-
Wide input range
(16–40V) capable of withstanding 50VDC/100mS (MIL STD 704D/E)
-
Ability to
synchronise switching frequency with external source to further
simplify filter requirements
-
Ability to
synchronise switching frequency with other converters to avoid beat
frequencies
-
Soft start
eliminates inrush current issues
-
Permanent short
circuit protection
-
Sense function to
ensure automatically corrected voltage at load
-
Trim function
applies fixed correction for external voltage drops
-
Parallel/load
sharing gives true N+1 redundancy and greater output.
-
On/Off function can
be used to save power or allow measurements to be taken in a low
noise environment.
